Kim is an art therapist, woodland activity leader, musician, artist, and long-term member of a women’s singing circle. She currently works in outdoor settings with pre-school children, and has a wealth of experience with children aged 2-18 in schools, community, and charity settings, including 6 years supporting autistic children. She sometimes incorporates shamanic practices into her therapeutic work. She is also a forest gardener and has part-completed her Diploma in Permaculture.
The broad variety of activities and skills we offer lends our workshops their distinctive, holistic approach. Our belief is that no one approach will reasonate with every individual, and different skills are required at different moments in our lives. Expanding people's repertoire of skills equips them with tools suitable for different situations and at different points along their life journey.
Our broad and flexible approach can accommodate the diversity present within urban populations. We are not focused on one specific clinical issue, or limited to one therapeutic modality or skillset.
I long for wilderness, a nature which
I can not put my foot through,
woods where the wood thrush forever sings,
where the hours are early morning ones,
and there is dew on the grass,
and the day is forever unproved....
- Henry David Thoreau
